The Grove proposal passes first hurdle

A controversial proposal to build a housing complex south of the CSU campus for 612 residents cleared a hurdle Thursday night but faces a few more before it would become a reality. The Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board voted 5-1 to amend the overall development plan, or ODP, for vacant land southwest of the intersection of Centre Avenue and Rolland Moore Drive to make way for The Grove housing complex, which would be geared toward students.
