Retail sales up in Fort Collins

With six months of steadily improving retail sales, Fort Collins officials are still reluctant to declare it a trend. Trend or not, sales of everything from groceries to clothing to books are improving, according to the city’s monthly sales and use tax report released Monday. Collectively, net taxable sales were up 3.1% in June and 3.9% through the first half of the year. Read article:
