Springs home prices up 6.6% in July from a year ago

While Colorado Springs is not part of the Standard & Poors/Case-Shiller home price index, figures from the PPAR show area home prices on the rise. In July, the median price of homes sold climbed to $212,000 – a 6.6% increase over the same month last year. Year-over-year prices have now risen for five straight months.
