Latest Case-Shiller Report

Home prices in the Denver metro area rose 9.2% in January from a year ago.  It was the 13th straight month of year-over-year gains, according to the latest S&P/Case Shiller report.  Nationally, the 20 cities tracked by the Case-Shiller report saw a year-over-year gain of 8.1%.  Denver’s price index was 134.17 in January.  “The Denver market is still thin on inventory, which will continue to push prices up. With continued low-interest rates, it creates an extreme affordability factor.
